Pead Rasanon, a music maker and DJ, based in Berlin via Bangkok. The initiator of blozxom. Pead’s work includes live performances and DJ sets, with notable appearances at events such as Three Sound Expo in Berlin (DE), Ghost2565: live without dead time, Beat Forest, Maho Rasop Festival, Wonderfruit Festival in Bangkok, Korat and Chonburi (TH), and the Asian Meeting Festival in Tokyo, Kobe, and Kyoto (JP). Pead’s recent works include the EPs ‘a b c’ as pTR, ‘FFFDBVCK’ as DRIPTECH, ‘-~*’ as r.flav, and ‘zome’ as Tanaad.

 

Pead performed with Mon Sisu Satrawaha and 'unthaitled collective' in “Somtam Manifesto” at the closing Exhibition of Rirkrit Tiravanit: DAS GLÜCK IST NICHT IMMER LUSTIG in Berlin, January 2025. Pead designed sound and music for short films, including "No Exorcism" by Komtouch Dew Napattaloong, which premiered at CPH:DOX, Copenhagen, in 2024. Pead also did a live soundtrack for Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s "Vapour" which premiered at the Busan Film Festival in 2015. An alumnus of Goethe Talents in 2020, Pead has hosted shows on dublab and Bangkok Community Radio.
